I would love for google to have a location of the day. It would pop up as a notification on your google maps . You click it if you want to see the location of the day/week. Local guides with great content, traffic and photos would create a short video or photos of what they love about their city  i.e. a park, festival, restaurant, cafe, statue etc...

Top views or likes by other local guides or viewers would receive a perk of some sort.
