Keeping identity of local guide secret on map - Status changed to: Closed

In view of the recent treat to local guides, i suggest that the identity of local guide be kept secret to forestall and safe guide the life and privacy of local guides. This will help us continue to give honest reviews of places and businesses. 

There have been cases where local guide are threatened with legal action because of the bad but truthful reviews they gave.

Hi @MattTony. Thank you for sharing this idea. This isn't something the team is able to implement at this time as all contributions require attribution to a Google Account name, however, you can take advantage of adjusting your name on your Google Account as well as by limiting your contributions.
