Construction blockages updating

When I choose navigation to an unknown place, google suggest me best option in terms of distance and traffic, but provides no information on condition or quality of roads. I often end up poor roads which are either too narrow for two vehicles or poorly constructed roads. There could be better option for me in many of the cases. So I feel GMap should point out condition of roads when navigation options are listed and allow the users to choose among the same. This is especially valid on Asian scenario of roads.

There can be multiple options to decide on the same - one can be allowing the user to rate roads and another can be monitoring frequent navigation through the roads.

Often while driving in urban streets with construction going on, we come across deadlocks or reroutes or clesed streets that are not reflected on Google Maps,  just because nobody has updated yet the relevant data base.  

As a result, Google Maps that specific moment are not useful; They have just taken you to a dead-end...

This could be easily corrected if users (from a min level up and with a proven reliability) were allowed to refer these instances to Google and propose corrections for approval, just like is now being done with the POIs...

Review of quality of roads should be available example if any road is not properly built or if there are many pot holes then we can provide review, so that it will help people while traveling and report will be made available  to goverment to fix it

I've been using google maps for any of my travel. While using it i get suggestions like alternate routes and traffic updates for the destination I go. But sometimes I even feel like, it would be great if the details regarding the roads quality (how well maintained the road is) and will it be safe to travel in the specific road at night times or is there any street dogs problem In the specific road which is making the journey difficult at certain times are also included in the maps while showing alternate route. Just a thought I had which I felt to share you with you guys. For a country like india this feature would be so helpful for us during the travel we do.

If I go from place A to place B, Google Maps suggests normally more than 2 ways, let us lake 3 ways viz. X, Y & Z. In developing countries like India, Roads aren't constructed very well, they might have improper curvature like snake 🐍, But Some national highways are well made, but sometimes they are lengthy. That's why Google maps suggets a way which is sort in length, consumes similar time or little bit less time than it is consumed on National Highway. But problem we found when we are on this snake curvature suggested link road. It's difficult to drive a car in Top Gear which further reduces the efficiency of car and leads to more tear & wear of car.

Rather Google Maps should suggest a National Highway while indicating about comfortableness, fuel efficiency of vehicle.

It can take review from other Google maps users (who have travelled on that road) about the road, it's condition like under renovation, not well maintained, constructed, about it's curvature, or driver was able to drive the vehicle comfortably or not.

It would lead to more accuracy of Google maps.

I hope this idea will be taken into consideration.

One day taking navigation on map .

There were two different direction to take .

I choose the shortest one , but on that shortest path,finds that it was fully covered by potholea making my journey difficult.

So there must be a option on Google maps to indicate the condition of the roads.

This can be achieved by studying the behavior of the phone gyroscope sensor.

To see when and where the vibration were maximum and where we're minimum.

Google Maps should include a feature in which it shows the type of roads in different regions. For example -  bumpy roads , smooth roads or roads with frequent humps !! This will be very useful for those driving at night as the sign boards are not often visible. This will surely help prevent accidents. When using Android auto this will warn drivers about type of roads which makes them alert while driving !! 😊😊
