Helping others has become more difficult

One of my favorite activities on Connect is checking what has been added recently, especially also to check if any new questions were raised where I could provide a meaningful answer (or a link to a post I have crafted before). This has become much more difficult now, as there is no quick way to access newly added content - opening one topic after the other, combined with multiple 'See more' or 'Recent' clicks and extensive scrolling does not really fit my definition of quick, especially when compared to the way it used to be possible (a list of all posts ordered chronologically, sorted on date of posting or date of last comment).

From the fact that such a list was visible again (accidentally?) on Sunday 26/08, but then was removed again in the course of Monday 27/08, I conclude that it was removed on purpose, so I realize there's not a big chance it will return any time soon, but still I want to point out that some of the 'collateral damage' is that it has become more difficult to help by responding quickly to newly added questions.

Feeling the same.

I feel exactly the same way as you @JanVanHaver  Having to page down through each topic is tedius and time consuming.  I was so happy for that brief time the display similar to the old connect became available. Alas they took it down q@uickly. Unfortunately, it is eye pleasing but not efficient.

Thanks for the tag, @Koby  I share your feeling @JanVanHaver, maybe in future updates we can have a hybrid way to see the posts, all together in the list. The connect 2.0 card system is here to stay since its aesthetic is shared with other Google App.

A possible suggestion could be to have the option of double visualization, in such a way that a tilde when one is inside the thematic card shows in one way or another the content of it.

Saludos Farid.

@JanVanHaver

Did you ever manage to discover the whereabouts about your missing contribution.

Somewhere in this steaming pile I posted the direct links to the page which contains rejected comments.

If I find it I will post it to you.

Should I do it publicly or via private message ?

Please advise.

Ron

@JanVanHaver

I couldn't find any trace of the original comment I posted which contained this link and so it may not have been indexed since it does not show up in the Disconnect 2.0 search box.

It still works and one of the first items on my own list was a comment that I posted to you some weeks back and which was immediately removed without warning or explanation.

Here is a direct link which should reveal to you all of your rejected items :

Where did the Reply button go?

 Yes, @aka_Rὁn, I was able to find it. I had bookmarked the link when you sent it a while ago.
