Google Maps get a share to Connect feature. Also an area here for reviews, and direct maps links!

It would be great to have a feature on Connect that is where we can share Google Maps links direct on Local Guides Connect. So then we can share them again from here too. 

This would be even better if Google Maps have a share to Connect link. 

Then we can feature Google Maps places to see and be part of, have fun, learn lots experience our culture of our favourite places and from the links extend our reviews with more information and articles about the areas on LG Connect features to share again. 

So after we share from Google Maps. We can share to LG Connect and put even more exciting information about places like feature events and what's happening over the near future here. 

In this way we can also start interest in meetups and future Reality Local Guides Connect Interviews dates can be posted and shared from Connect onwards after as well. 

What do you think? A Google Maps share to Connect link plus a feature area here in Connect for speciality shares shared from Google Maps.

It would be useful to have a link to the connect forum on the contribute/maps app. I didnt know about the forum until coming across a google reviews email that had been auto filtered into my "updates" imbox.

I propose the addition of a tab within the GoogleMaps app for localguides that leads to the local guides connect community, features special offers, and highlights events and meet ups. 

This will enhance the guide experience, increase community involvement, and continually incentivize more contribution.

I don’t know yet if anything like this, so feel free to point me in the right direction if it exists!

If we Include connect section in google map contribution page or separate application, many local guide will become active in this community. And also it will be easy to have it in mobile instead of having computer for community access.

Would it ever possible to have access to "Connect"  through the menu available on Google maps app? Having then the possibility to see the notification of messages received through the Google Maps menu? This would enable  Local Guides a quick and interactive contribution to both Google Maps and share ideas and posts on Connect platform. Thank you

Though this might be a preference issue, I believe it would be great to have a quick link/button to the maps content and menu right from within Local Guides Connect. A button linking to all my map menus and settings will save me time of typing urls or searching for maps. I think many others will find this a time saving option when they wish to interact with the maps content. https://www.google.com/maps

Coincidence I stumble on this? I think not. I do agree. I have shortcuts on my phone as well as computer, however I tend to use a computer wherever I am and have some time. It would be convenient and a bit of a time saver to have that functionality since the platforms are linked to a certain extent. I totally agree.
