Example of Google Maps category proposal form

Hi team, as everyone knows, the category topic is something really important for Local Guides and mappers.

In the past we had some reference using this Knowledge Base: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en

Please, consider that the above document refers to Google MyBusiness categories, and not to Google Maps categories, that eventually don't overlap.

My proposal is to create a public workflow, accessible only to LG with a specified LVL, starting with a form like that:

What do you think? This could lead to a separate workflow different from standard Google Maps feedbacks and could be handled better.

Hey Lucio, nice piece of work.  I like the procedure, it might improve the fit of Categories to real world mappable places. 

I wonder what controls could be introduced to affinitise suggested new categories from multipe people using differing languages, to ensure "meaning" consistency whilst limiting niche categories.

Could it be that your location option might also include a "language option" or "target language/country" that would make that new Catgory available in certain circumstances or locations or languages.

I have an idea google should fix the problem with the categories for example I have been trying to add a public wharf to google maps but I can not find a category I tried wharf, dock and jetty which are not accepted what can I do?
