Svar: Flag users

Hello everyone.

Sometimes I explore profiles of Google Maps users and find lots of unacceptable reviews.

At this moment we could only report reviews one by one but it takes too much time.

I suggest LG developers team add "flag" button to all users profile that allow us to send report on whole profile not only one review.

This is a really good idea @Ale5ander.
I have thought of just the same since I have been hard at checking out the latest rewievs and added pictures in my hometown.

Hi @Ale5ander,

I just want to inform you that if you think that a Local Guide is a spammer you can report him/her. You can find more information in this topic How to identify and report fraud on Google Maps. Otherwise you can only report a specific review by clicking on (...) on the upper right part of the review and click on report review.

The business owner can also flag the innaprovieted review by following the steps on the article Flag inappropriate reviews or can also reach out to the Google My Business Help for some additional inquiries.

@FelipePK: I have used the reporting system 4 times and the users have not been affected in any way. They still spam rewievs in my city and other places. Only a few of around 100 pictures I have reported of not beeing from that precise place have been deleted. The report system does not work well.

Here in Sweden not many shop owners knows about the reviews and they are not registered as shopowners on Maps so how can they report? The reports are often done by us who are active users on LG.
Google should do a better job telling shop owners about the possibility to register as shop owners on Maps.

If there is something useful for us local guides in that topic, it might be a good idea to copy it in a more public place, thanks. But I can understand if not everbody should be able to report other local guides and that this report option is for moderators only.
