Direction for Multiple Locations - Status changed to: Voting open

Hi friends, 

I am in a tourist spot,  it's a hill area and I have list of locations to visit. 

However,  there are multiple routes and all are in different locations. 

So if there is some features like "organising routing for multiple locations" will be great help. It will also save time and money. 

I will know what is the nearest spot and last one.  And I will have route for all my list.

Hi @JohnPeter, thanks for sharing your suggestion. We are going to need some further information to make sure we are on the same page. Have you tried using Google Maps lists? Let me know how they would work out for you.

Yes I have been using google lists, 

1. And for this trip also I have  made the list. But I edit the list after the visit,  like I added Heritage Museum which was created by me and I remove the places we're not tourist attraction or closed.  Example deer Park was closed and bike rental was burned by the government. Museum added by me

Here in OOTY from 28th to 1st I am here,  I used taxi,  auto,  travel agencies pack and above all I love exploring by myself.  But as I use public transport and by walk I find it difficult to organize my list of place to visit.  

So my proposal is,  I have all list if I can see them all in real map locations I can decide where to start and short routes etc. 

Example 

Like the illustration I have given above,  I want to see my list in real time map and suggestion for places to go 1,2,3,4 like that.  Total km,  transport availability,  suggestion for other nearest spots etc. 

Hope I am able to explain what the issue I  am facing now.  If any clarification feel free to ask me. 

I am mostly used walking,  so I have like 10 place to visit but one by one i needed to search from my spot to the one particular location and from that location to another.  It's a long process and not able to map my list. 

I had plan for three days tour,  due to missing some locations,  I extended two more days.  If we take tourist pack,  that have list of places to visit. But personal exploring is more fun as a local guide.  

With the help of local person I found some shortcuts in hilly area for walking route.

Or in other words

Finding a organized route for a multiple locations.  

Example 

For example if I want to go to five locations in a town I want to see all of them together. Please refer my last comment

Using measuring distance between points, you can see all location and calculate the distance between points on the map. Please see the example below. This may be different from what you are looking for, but I hope this accommodate to what you need. Let me know what you think. Thank you.

Thanks dear @Atsukot  for sharing the stop points option for multiple location measurement.  It's very interesting and almost close to my idea.  

The only part missing ( Or i am not aware)  is the direction.  Now that I have added the stop points and measured the distance.  I am ready to start my exploration,  for that I want DIRECTION to all these point.  

SO IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET DIRECTION TO ALL THE POINTS you are showing in the illustration?

Hello @JohnPeter, I understand you. It measures the distance between points, but it does not tell you the direction between points. I agree with you, and I think if the function added to measuring distance between points would be really helpful.
