Deleting Photos in a Review

A cafe owner recently pointed out to me that I had posted the wrong photo on a review for her cafe.  This is a cafe that I frequently visit and am well known by the staff.  The current method provided to find the photo you'd like to delete on a review is far to cumbersome when one has thousands of reviews and thousands of photos. Rather than having to find the photo under the "PHOTOS" tab, it should be done under "REVIEWS". First find the review, then find the photo.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that the process of updating and managing our reviews' photos is conversome at best.

 

I have not only provided feedback regarding this issue; I have provided viable solutions on several occasions the past eight months.

 

Your suggestion, while viable, would only work if our photos were consistently shown along with our reviews.   But this is not always the case.  Sometimes they show and other times they do not.

 

Additionally, our best photos disappear all together then we see them slightly edited under someone else's name. 

 

I am quite disolutioned at the lack of security here and with Maps.  We apply ourselves effectively and consistently only to have some underhanded black hatter sabotage our work.

It is a mess! @AdamGT  are you able to delete those photos at least?   All that work! All the content we have produced 😢  only to be to have it currupt.

No @VBenedict, I can see the photo on the cafe's review but there is no delete option right there!  Currently, I need to walk through thouands of photo to find it which will take cosiderable time.  It's not rocket science, we a need to be able to delete a photo on a review.  The current method of having to find the photo under the "PHOTOS" tab is ridiculous to say the least.  It's just too hard, the cafe isn't  happy and the integrity of Google Maps is diluted.  Ridiculous!  It should be done under the "REVIEWS" tab.  First we find the review where the list of photos would not be in the thousands, and delete it.  Simples!

I totally agree with you @AdamGT  I have been submitting several solutions since last December 2017.  In the old "Feedback and Feature Request" then in the Ideas Exchange before it was made public regarding our ability to delete and update our photos in Maps.

 

BTW, are you also having lots of "Rights Access Denied" here on Connect?  I know now who the perpetrators are but no safe intelligent way to report these culprits.

Lucky you @AdamGT  a great many of us get an inordinate number of corrupted pages or when composing posts we get crashed and loose most or some of my work... we get those red dialogue box errors of one kind or another incessantly.
