Award certificates to Local Guides at different levels - Status changed to: Revisit later

We request google map team to provide a certificate for local guides as mentioned below

Level 1 to Level 5: Participation Certificate – Soft copy by email.

Level 5 to Level 7: Certificate and Appreciation Letter Hard copy.

Level 8 to Level 9: Certificate (Hard Copy), Appreciation Letter (Hard Copy) and Gifts from Google.

Level 10: Certificate (Hard Copy), Appreciation Letter (Hard Copy) and Gifts from Google and discount on google products.

Implementation: For google it takes less than a month.

Cost: Very Less.

Advantages: It motivates local guides and they work for it. New local guides will join to get certificates.

Note: To avoid fraud certificates, Local Guides Certificate can be verified from google maps website with a serial number or registration number.

I think this is a great idea to input some energy to Local Guides. I hope the Local Guides Team will take some steps to do something like this.

I am agreeing with your proposal. Before giving a certificate the contribution of any local guides must be considered rather than seeing the points for a level.

I have box of certificates from jobs and continue education programs.  

Just paper.  Option to print your own if you want it.

I think this would be a wonderful perk. Just from my previous hospitality experience I have found out acknowledging and recognizing ones achievements has always been beneficial on both the giving and receiving in.  It’s a great feeling when you know that someone else has noticed your hard work which is a good incentive to keep it up.  This would, in return, cause more people to be dedicated to the program.

I like this idea a lot. I think it would also make sense to give some more software related perks earlier (ones that don't cost Google nearly as much given the volume). Like a small amount of drive storage or some play store credit or a discount on YouTube Red, etc. at level 4 or 5

Yes I agree with you if Google really think about it. This idea will motivate many new local guides or also motivates us to contribute more and more.
