We request google map team to provide a certificate for local guides as mentioned below

Level 1 to Level 5: Participation Certificate – Soft copy by email.

Level 5 to Level 7: Certificate and Appreciation Letter Hard copy.

Level 8 to Level 9: Certificate (Hard Copy), Appreciation Letter (Hard Copy) and Gifts from Google.

Level 10: Certificate (Hard Copy), Appreciation Letter (Hard Copy) and Gifts from Google and discount on google products.

Implementation: For google it takes less than a month.

Cost: Very Less.

Advantages: It motivates local guides and they work for it. New local guides will join to get certificates.

Note: To avoid fraud certificates, Local Guides Certificate can be verified from google maps website with a serial number or registration number.

Hi all,

I believe declaring top 10 yearly LG contributors and acknowledging them with certificates  will be good way to appreciate LG. The yearly top 10 can be completely based on the google strategy of valuing the contributions by the end of the year including various fields...Some eg are given below.

1. LG X - Key Trailblazer -- He added 200 new location in Google map in this year which triggered a total 10K reviews and 100K photos under the places from different LGs across the globe.

2. LG Y - Key Tester -- Reported 10 errors in GMap (this year) which enabled suitable corrections which is expected to avoid 1M problems for GMap users.

3. LG Z - Key Reviewer -- Contributed 500 reviews in this year across 10 countries with a total of more than 250K words which resulted in 5K likes and 10M views

That would be wonderful @NeerajKumarIndia but it means Google would have to pay more than the gross domestic product of most countries to Local Guides...
