Adding an additional phone number for a business on Google Maps.

• When putting in a new business maybe Google Maps could have two phone number slots because some emergency services have two phone numbers, one is the official phone number and the other phone number is for emergencies

Sometimes,we see that phone number listed is wrong or not reachable so in that case,we can contact via email provided and it will also help businesses to get potential customers.Adding multiple phone numbers will also help if other number is not reachable and we see that most of the shops have landline numbers in India,so we can add both landline and mobile number.

I would like to suggest an option for Business on Google Maps to have an extra tab for secondary phone number in case that point of interest has another number they can be reached on.

I think this is good idea @Tula!  And it Ukraine where there are two main mobile operators and call between them is not cheap, it is always an advantage for a business to have 2 numbers, because people just will not call you.

I usually have this issue, when a place already have a number of phone lines, it wasn't easy to choose which one to use!

I have been a local contributer for a while and I wish to apply new features in the app(Google Map). I would like to add a feature with collaboration between the government so that it becomes easy for the travelers to communicate with the government tourism department. Which helps the community to get direct communication with the government and get a clear idea even if they are traveling in a remote area. So I wish to add a feature which provides phone number of(Information desk) tourism department of the government from place to place.

In some countries, there's a lot of network problem. This poor network can affect the communication sometimes, where by numbers becomes unreachable.

Business in some of this countries uses more than one phone number from different network providers so as to improve their customers to get in touch with them when the first number don't connect

So i suggest for Google team to make it possible for addition of more than one mobile numbers. It might be Ok for some countries for Google maps to have one contact number due to network availability and Highspeed internet.
