Add notes field to change requests for supporting info.

I have been trying to update the web address of a local venue but each time my correction is rejected with: Your edit can't be verified so it won't be posted.

I have tried this several times and it is rejected each time. It is rejected because the moderator is being lazy. There are two venues with similar names, both are similar establishments. Both venues link to the same website, yet one is an independent business with no website, the other is a large chain. I find it unfair that anyone looking for the small family run business will be directed to a large chain and I can do nothing to correct that.

How about adding a small notes field for when a local guide makes a change suggestion where we can explain the change and provide evidence?

Hello @Robert_Scott, is that family business claimed? If it is, the business owner has much more control over the data on Google maps.

I agree with @Robert_Scott. I have tried to post edits before and would have liked to had a 📝 notes field to provide an explanation. 𝔾𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕔𝕒𝕝𝕝 for sure @Robert_Scott

Dear, @Robert_Scott. Thank you for sharing your kind constructive feedback. If you want to satisfy your deep concerns about the business owners you might find it useful to talk to them and advise them to change the address themselves as it is an edit only they can do through their own Google My Business account.
