Few hours ago when I was searching for Mount Everest in Google map. As I started to check the photos I’ve noted that Google has embedded it’s YouTube video in the map with the title ‘Take a guided tour’. This looks cool. The video has got the title ‘Trek the world with Google map’. So let’s have a trek with Google map.
If you’ve noticed the same in your area please share a link of the place.
Keep mapping! Keep guiding!
Nice finding @BishowvijayaP , even if the video is really old.
Maybe we will have some video featured in the Google Maps Card? This will help increase views on videos, that are really slowly increasing!
Interesting @BishowvijayaP
Thanks for sharing!
Hi @BishowvijayaP,
That sounds great, isn’t it? Thanks for sharing with us.
There is much more you can explore at the Google Maps Treks archive.
I am interested on the Google Maps Card idea, @LucioV, would you mind elaborate a bit more?
Thanks @sonnyNg I was talking about the Google Maps entry area with photos and spins; actually doesn’t shows videos, but some featured video could be shown here, and in the Knowledge Graphs of Google Search results:
The featured video could be also shown in the header as well
Thank you @BishowvijayaP for sharing a great information with us.
I have just checked on that, @LucioV .
Thank you for clarifying!
I also was unaware of Map cards @LucioV . Thank you so much for the information.
It’s my pleasure @NareshDarji .
Of course! It sounds great @sonnyNg . I love it even more if local guide meetup videos regarding particular places are also featured.
Its a pleasure to share something with fellows. It’s a even pleasure that you checked the post and provide me a feedback @ShahnewazAhmed . Thank you so much for that.
Thanks for the feedback, @BishowvijayaP.
In case you have the idea that you can share with the community, please do not hesitate to share with us on Idea Exchange.
