I love to journey from one city to another especially if it’s a new place to visit. Then, I would take photo of it and share it to my friends via Instagram or facebook. I’am also share my photos to google maps so my photos reach more people and perhaps it can be usefull to other people who decide to take travel to a place where I’ve been there. This information is very usefull like I’ve ever felt when I go to a new place where I’ve never been there.
I also love to take photo on recreation areas. Usually I turn on my location while take a photo so that google will ask me to upload my photo on that place. I never uploaded a photo where I’ve never been there. I want make google is eco-friendly to who need information and a photo about a place. I have uploaded a photo that have almost 10,000 views at a place in Takengon, Aceh. I’am very glad about it. It’s mean I had help people so much to know Takengon’s place through my photo.
I love sharing photo on google maps. But, I also like to review a place that I’ve been visited there. Review is as important as photo itself so other people who decide to go to someplace or just looking for a place of recreation can decide whether the place to go is worth or not. I will honestly give a bad review if they deserve it. I don’t want other people feel what I feel when go somewhere bad. Besides reviews, I also like to answer some question on google maps when I can answer it. I hope my answer can help those in need.
I think, google have good community. We can help each other via simple thing like sharing photo, give reviews, or just answering the question that can be answered. I hope, this community become bigger and bigger so it can be useful for everyone. I have little story. I never meet my cousin’s since they decide to go to Java from Aceh about 4 years ago. When I go home to Yogyakarta from Jakarta using my motorcycle, I decide to visit them. The only clue I have that they live in boarding school called Al-Hasanah in Tasikmalaya. I search it using google maps. There are three search result about boarding school called Al-Hasanah in google maps. I decide to go to the place that has more good reviews and proper photo. But, unfortunately it’s not the place I looking for. Then, I go to the other Al-Hasanah place. Luckily the second place is the place I looking for. Finally, I can meet my younger cousins after several years. It’s because google maps and the peoples who contributed in.
