it’s the Cafè San Jaume in Valencia, Spain. I took this photo 3 years ago, while I was on holidays with my friends.
The story behind this photo it’s pretty fun: all the week we searched for a bar in wich we could drink a good agua de Valencia, but we couldn’t find one.
So the last day arrives and two friends of mine and I went to the city center to buy some souvenirs. We do our shopping and at about 5 p.m. we decided it was time for an appetizer (note: we partied a lot in the week, so we had some pretty strange daily routine, so we didn’t eat very much). We start searching for a bar that serves agua de Valencia and we found one, we drink it and have a good time. Since we sat down we didn’t feel the strength of the drink, and at the moment of getting up we start feeling the dizzyness! So, it’s 6 p.m., we are a bit drunk, what can we do? Obviusly we reach Cafè San Jaume for a sangria! We start drinking and having lot of fun, we talk about things we don’t normally mention and then we decide to take the metro to go home.
So this is my most viewed photo in Maps and a little sill story that reminds me of it! What is yours? Share with us!
very beautiful photo and indeed very nice story and that’s what makes special a photo, besides of course the views count, well done!
Perhaps you might interested in the Leaderboards of the Most Viewed Photos post by @AdamGT which is exactly talking about this topic and it is grouping the most viewed photos from all over our community.
This kind of topic is so interesting where we could tell the story behind our most viewed photo on Google Maps.
My most viewed photo on Google Maps is showing the ambiance of Tacos Tumbras a Tomas, a Mexican food stall in Grand Central Market, Los Angeles. That time, me and my friend had breakfast together here. This food stall is very recommended as they provide affordable Mexican foods with the big portion and good taste!
Last September, I hosted a virtual meet-up “Celebrating Our Food Photo Contributions on Google Maps”. We also talked about the most viewed food photo contribution on Google Maps. This was so fun! You could take a look at some Local Guides’ interesting story through my post about [RECAP] Virtual Meet-up Foodie Local Guides Talk Part 4
I just wanted to let you know that I will move your post to our Achievements board, where Local Guides share such information and brag about their successes in the program. More information on Connect’s labels is available here.
I’ve always been fascinated by our most viewed photo, which by the way I often call our star photo, and have posted about his subject a few times. What I and many other fellow Local Guides have found, and very much unexpectedly so, is that the star photo is often not our best photo but instead, just some ordinary photo. Why don’t you join me and over 100 other fellow Local Guides on the Leaderboards of Most Viewed Photos post. Thanks for tagging me @LuigiZ .
