My Local Guides account has been suspended 2 times and reinstated 2 times now, still without any explanation as to why it was suspended. Is there a way to find out? Is this a system glitch? Or If there’s a post/photo/review/tag, etc that I need to delete or correct, I’m happy to do that, or if my account was hacked, I can update it.
This is very troubling why my account was randomly suspended 2 times. First time was before May 2019, then reinstated June 2, 2019. Then I noticed it was suspended again July 24, 2019, and I have barely even logged in or used it since the 1st suspension. So there’s nothing new I could have added that caused it to be suspended again. It was reinstated today, August 14, 2019.
Local Guides: “You’ve been removed from the program for violating our program rules or Maps contribution policy but we cannot give specific details on the investigation. We will look into your case again and will be in touch within 3 weeks after an investigation of your contributions. My husband’s account has been suspended suddenly! We don’t know why? His account is clear he always been carfull to don’t do any thing wrong. Could you please check it quickly because he needs to submit the application.

I have a problem, my gmail account [REDACTED]. I have contributed a lot to google maps, esiting, adding places, adding missing info etc.
I was at level 10. But now I cant see my level, only mu contribution number 10000 is being shown. Why? Am i being closed out of google.local guide program? I want to continue and contribute as a google local guide. My account is suspended. plz help

Close this account now. Having two accounts is against the program rules
Hello @chadindiana , I’m not sure it will be of any help to you, as you are L10 yourself, but a while ago I have made a podcast episode that tries to dig a bit deeper into the reasons why accounts get suspended. You can find it here:
We use filters to comb through content and look for anything that shouldn’t be on the Map. This of course lead to accounts being suspended and unfortunately sometimes it can be by accident, which may have happened in your situation. We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused and we would like to thank you for your understanding.
