Have you ever been to a restaurant or cafe, read the raving reviews and got disappointed by poor service or exactly the opposite of what you had expected?
Like many other local guides, I enjoy sharing my personal experiences and favourite haunts with others. However, I find that it is more meaningful to share bad experiences as I feel that fewer people do.

It’s not just because errant companies need to be called out for their misconduct or misrepresentation of their product or service.
Of course companies that hire outstanding employees or believe in quality or other highly sought-after values, must be singled out and complimented too.
As a local guide and advocate of Google’s service which works well with its core business of search and maps, it is important to call out areas of improvement so businesses can realise their existing problems that the management may be blindsided to and make more customers happy instead of the opposite.
