Hello, Google Local guides! I am Anand. A Budding Physiotherapist from Surat, Gujarat. I have always been fascinated with new places and that’s what lead me towards becoming a Google local guide.
This platform is all about sharing the best of my knowledge about the places which I have been seeing since my childhood. It’s about knowing your own city and making others know about it through these small contributions. It’s basically a game of observation. You observe, you review, you rate, you make necessary changes etc. I love sharing information about any new spot in the city, be it an eatery, a new showroom bringing some of the best cars or a new educational institution, I make sure that I update the audience about them. It involves giving a brief idea about its infrastructure, services offered, timings, specialities, the existing place which it replaced (if in case) etc. My main emphasis has always been on the lesser known places which need recognition. I expand this by including the places serving the best delicacies in and around the city.
I also like comparing places and letting the audience know about better options. I try to focus on a variety of fields which cater to the basic needs of the audience for eg adding information about doctors specializing in a particular field, medical stores working 24/7, electronic stores selling the best of gadgets prove to be very helpful. These contributions make a really huge difference as they provide ease to the audience in accurately locating a given place. Being a Google local guide my motto will always be being more innovative and expanding my genre by not just limiting to my existing work.
