You lost and you don’t know which hostel to choose. I’m here to help you.

One of the main problem during our journeys where do we have to stay?

This leads us to many other questions: How does this place look inside? Do owners accept debit card? How well do they understand English?

Unfortunately and amazingly it is really hard to find answers for these questions, especially in unexplored countries.

That’s why I’m trying to share all possible information about hostels, guesthouses where I have been myself. Thanks to Google Maps I can help other people to have a better experience.

How did I find this useful?

I and my friends traveled to Uzbekistan in the summer of 2018. This country just opened borders with the world and we couldn’t find enough information about places to stay, to eat, to visit in Google Maps.

We tried to make a lot of research on Google and to speak with the locals to find the most comfortable hostels in the city center of Tashkent and two other cities Bukhara and Samarkand. I was so glad that our experience went well but we spend so much time and effort on it that I decided to add all the pictures that I took and wrote recommendations about hostels where we stayed.

Some of them were run by small families, other by young people but service, prices and comfortability of places were really nice. I was very glad when I found that thousands of people around the world saw my information on Google Maps. Unfortunately, not all places have the infrastructure for people in wheelchairs and it was important for me to mention it as well.

This experience inspired me to post more recommendations, pictures and answer questions in English and in Russian languages, especially to help tourists in my country Kyrgyzstan who do not have enough information in Google Maps.

Currently, I have a great opportunity to travel around Europe. Google Maps is helping me a lot here. However, there is still not enough information which I fill in on my own experience.

It is so great that we as people can help each other for free to make the travel experience better. Local Guides connect people all over the world and we all have a chance to make our traveling more awesome.
