My motivation is to put some of the smaller shops, restaurants and places on the map. The fun of traveling can be to visit the same museum as everyone before you but it can also be about finding the authentic experience. The small spots that not many has hade a chans to discover.
It’s also about highlithing the opertunities that is outside of the big citys, the big travelpoints and the charter destinations. I like to contribute to a more ecofriendly way of travel that the trip in it’s self isn’t the important thing, but instead all the things you experience on the way. The finish line isn’t everything, the road is everything, is a Swedish exprecsion that I like.
I like to think that google maps in a future not far away will be a part of a ecofriendly way of travel that combindes train and bus travels so we can get around with out flying as much as we do today. Those who today travel halv the earth without flying are some of my heroes and those who will cross my path, I wan’t to help them.
