Yosemite National Park, CA,USA in Autumn

Hi ALL,

Today I will take you to a place with my photos which is visited by 4 million ppl in a year and is a World Heritage site (1984) as well. It spreads about 1200 sq miles, a huge area but majority PPL be in about 7 sq miles known as Yesomite Valley.

what a reflection in a lake water!

The park changes its nature or beauty with seasons. These photos are captured in an Autumn when water almost dries up and cliff faces show traces of water fall.

But in Spring the beauty of the park is totally different. The falls swirl back with life due to melting of snow and are at peak of the year. I shall share photos of spring season also in due course.

Enjoy deep valleys and colour full grand meadows in this season.

One can go for camping or overnight hikes or stay in a hotel and enjoy the park for a couple of days or more.

So if you like granite cliffs, water falls, clear streams, lakes, mountains and meadows be there in the next season when gates open up for the tourists.

Thanks,

TriDev

Hi @TriDev ,

Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures with us! The Yosemite National Park is amazing and I would really love to visit it one day. It seems you really enjoyed it, was your visit part of a bigger trip?

HI @Giu_DiB ,

Thank you very much for your appreciation. Actually I am in India and my son lives in SFO (USA) and my daughter is at Adelaide (Australia). I keep visiting these two countries once a year and that’s the reason I have been to Yosemite many times.

I will be sharing , " Yosemite in Spring" asap which is so so different than in Autumn.

I will definitely have a look at suggested post, " Celebrating National…".

Thanks again.
