It has significance for Newa Community of Kathmandu Valley.

I just wanted to inform you that I have moved your post to the Food and Drink category, since it fits better there.
Yomari are the sweet dumplings made by natives of Kathmandu Valley. The food is specially cooked by Newa community in religious festival of Yomari Puni a full moon day on month of November.
The dough is made up of rice flour while it is stuffed by chakku(sugar concentrated molasses). Other thing used for stuffing are khuwa (dried milk), lentils, cheese and chocolates.
