International Yoga day & Meditation 2023
Hello,
To all my Local guide friend 's around the world.
I hope you have missed me
lot & my post so I am back.
Funâs apart.Wishing you all Happy yoga day & Meditation.
Friends I would like to share my experience of yoga & Meditation.
To be Frank we womenâs do everything whole day take care of family, friends, relatives but we wonât pamper ourselves nor take care of ourselves.
How can I forget my brotherâs ( Menâs) now days due to awareness,they also take care of thier body.
.Mostly menâs go to Gym,do exercise.
During lockdown I started doing Yoga as my weight was increasing,I hired a yoga teacher when things got normal she would come thrice a week to my place ,God bless Ira my yoga teacher I could see changes in my self she started with light yoga asna sitting on my sofa chair, slowly & gradually increase my exercises.
Within three months could see so much changes my body I felt lighter.
But then yoga teacher went to Kolkata then she was not able to come again
Again i was back to zero
With Yoga I learnt doing Meditation got peace of Mind,body Soul.
Yoga exercises are called Asanas
Meditation give peace of mind & soul.
Now every day I do meditation.Some times yoga to.
But I have promised my self again to spend time for my self atleast half hour.
" Health is Wealth".
Friends I believe we should give at least 1 hour to our self & our body.At least twice -thrice a week. Or half an hour.
Letâs see why we celebrate International Yoga day on 21st June.
Often this question is asked why June 21st is celebrated as yoga day because June 21st, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and a special significance different part of countries.
International Yoga day is celebrated to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga and meditation all over the world.
Yoga is practice in India since from ancient times by our Rishi ,Muniâs
Yoga gives peace to Mind, Body, Spirit.
Shiva is the lord of meditation,& Parvati/ Shakti also join Shiva in meditation .
Gautam Buddha is know as master of Yoga.
Rishikesh situated in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, in northern India, it is known as the Yoga Capital of the World
Our Rishi Muniâs used to sit on these foothills did meditation for
months & yearâs.
In olden days when kids were sent to Gurukul for studies their students were taught yoga & medication.
Does your child learns yoga in school , because here in India many schools teach Yoga.
Even in my school were i was working teach you once a week.
Sarvangasana is the Mother of asanas
Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility.
Yoga Slow movements and deep breathing increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength. Balance on one foot, while holding the other foot to your calf or above the knee (but never on the knee) at a right angle all such Asan, were done by our Rishi ,Muniâs for many years.
That why after Meditation for years they would get Enlightenment.
Gautam Buddha got Enlightenment.
I took this Initiative in my family,Prayer & Meditation has help me & my family.Myhusband with grace of God his health , in these years is improved,so much his report are normal.Its due to prayers & Meditation.
With Meditation I started towards positive, affirmations.This i shall tell you in my next post.
