Yet another story from Kazakhstan, why I like to be a Local Guide

Hi everyone!

Today I’ve discovered this place.

I want to share my experience with the Local Guide programme.

I am a huge fan of Google Maps. And when I’ve found out that it’s accepted to post photos there I started to do it, it was back in 2014. I like to shoot photospheres. Right now Kazakhstan doesn’t have Street View, that’s why I want to do it myself. I want more people to see my beautiful country!

Also I picture some ugly parts of my town, I know that government officials a sensitive about a public image of my town (a capital of the country) and I see that they’re fixing roads, clean illegal dumps. That’s the way I improve my environment.

Also capture some distant natural places: forests, peaks, canyons and villages. So people around the world can see and learn more about my country.
