Yazd Fire temple

The Zoroastrians consider the fire sacred. And they stand on fire while praying. And their sacred fire must not be extinguished. Most Zoroastrians in Iran live in Yazd. There is a Fire temple ( in Persian: Atashkadeh ) in the city that people have said has not been extinguished for more than five years.
On my trip to Yazd, I saw this fire and saw it from a window.
For non-Zoroastrian people, it is the view from behind the window, but Zoroastrians pray near that holy fire.

Hello @Rezgar ,

Thank you for sharing this great location with us.

I’ve heard before about the Zoroastrians, but didn’t really know what it was about.

As far as I remember there is even a fire festival, right?
