I think this calls for celebration. Accra is the capital city of Ghana with over 2.4 million people. On average, 80% of the people in here use smart phones and the majority are likely to have Google Maps on their phones.
I started contributing on the map somewhere last year and now, I am part of the top 1% of Local Guides in Accra. Even though my points and contributions might not be the same or equal to most people here, I think for this short period that I have been able to reach this level, it is plus for me. Thanks to Local Guides like @AlejandraMaria , @AdrianLunsong , etc. whose few private messages have encouraged me in many ways.
Celebrate with me by simply giving me a kudos on this post. You may read my post about the lessons I’ve learnt as a Local Guide as well. Thank you.
@iamireku , I was wondering who got the Top Local Guide in March because I have been top Local Guide for the past months now and it happens you were the one. I did a good job in retaining the top local Guide in Accra for the month of April.
@Boateng_Richard@That would be great! I have hosted a few meet-ups in Accra and the experience was great, even though we faced some challenges. I am currently in Ethiopia for a project and would be back in Ghana probably in May. I hope we can do something together
