I like to post about places that I eat however I am usually focused on the drink at the restaurant, bar, or grill. We like to try different foods but what about the drink and yes even soft drinks. Beverages have always been known to compliment a meal so I always check the drink menu first. I also have 2 small children so variety is important when we go out to eat.
Alcoholic beverages I enjoy differently. It can taste good, but was the price worth it? There is a restaurant in Punta Gorda, FL named Leroy’s southern Kitchen. The food is so good… I mean amazingly good and the portions are huge. After 3 tries I only drink water while Im there. They try to change their drink menu with the season and it is always a miss in my book. The drinks are overly priced for the amount of alcohol or lack there of and the soft drinks are watered down.
Any where I go, I look to see if they offer a diet option for soft drinks and extra points if they will mix the drinks up for you; like adding some lemonade to the iced tea.
If I am out with my Mother I like to see a coffee or tea option as well.
Not many places serve tea but it a pleasure to see it offered especially if there is more to choose from than Earl Grey or Lipton.
Cheers!
