Banyan & Peepal 
Worship
Today I witnessed the worship of Banyan & Peepal tree. Every evening the village women light lamp at these trees. Both the trees have joined together into one 
.
People say wherever they find such joining of peepal & banyan tree; first of all they arrange marriage of the trees and then they begin to worship them for the development of the village.
Things like marriage and worship should not be taken at face value since there is a deep-rooted scientific reason behind doing this which you should find out or know.
Both Banayan and Peepal trees are known to release oxygen during both day as well as night hence to preserve them, they are worshipped @Dillipkumar
Yes, right!!! But since time immemorial villagers have been worshipping these trees without having knowledge of any scientific reason. It is the local belief and culture and tradition.
