This is a median Jos - Plateau State, Nigeria Local Guides Meet and Map edit walk which is a replication of a Worldwide Map Edit which will take place simultaneously/concurrently across participating cities in the world, of which Jos aka TIN CITY would be joining. The Jos edition of the event would engage volunteers and aim at the following: 1. Interaction with other local guides in and around the city of Jos 2. Improve/Verify/Add information of existing places or business within the city of Jos and possibly plateau state 3. Assist business owners claim their business through the Google business tool Volunteers are to come along with something to eat and share with someone. NOTE this event is FREE to ALL who want to volunteer and be part of the map edit walk.

So far contacts I have made with some local hike teams reveal that 22nd July, 2017 is really close. I had told team to first sign up to be a local guide and indicate interest to attend. Hopefully some of them will get to do so before weekend. Would update you.
