Today, March 3 - World Wildlife day.
As a supporter of WWF ,I can not mention this holiday.
This day reminds all people of the planet to take care of wildlife, to remember the beauty of flora and fauna, to strengthen the fight against criminal attitude to wildlife on the planet.
Last year I visited International Wildlife Festival “GoldenTurtle”,where I watched a lot of beautiful photos of wildlife animals.
How beautiful and diverse our animal world is, but at the same time human activity and irresponsible attitude to it cause great harm to this diversity.
The change of consciousness and attitude to the wild nature, the rejection of the idea of the infinity of natural resources will allow our children and grandchildren to admire the wild nature, coexist harmoniously with it, will give them the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and splendor of the earthly miracle!
More than half a century, humans have killed a lot of all bird species, and 11 percent of the rest are on the verge of extinction.Coral reefs, the most diverse water system on Earth, suffer from depletion of fish stocks, pollution, epidemic diseases and rising temperatures.
Atlantic walrus – sea giants that live in the Northern seas. According to scientists this is the most vulnerable denizen of the Russian Arctic. A special concern of experts causes an acute lack of information on population – not the number of walruses or their exact habitat is still unknown. The population of the mighty beast fell sharply due to increased fishing. Especially hard hit are the Atlantic walrus that lives in the Kara sea.
The Amur tiger – the largest tiger in the world. The most Northern and the only tiger who has mastered life in the snow. In the 1960s the species was close to extinction, but with the efforts of environmental organizations, its population has recovered and is approximately 450 individuals today. Poaching and habitat destruction once again bring the tigers to a dangerous point.
At the end I want to say :
We all live on the same planet. Only together we can make our world a cleaner and nicer. Therefore, I call on all people living on planet Earth - think again!
Let’s leave our descendants clean planet!
Let’s take care of the flora and fauna of our beautiful planet, because it is our common HOME!
