World War II remembrance, 30 minutes from Brussels

Between Wavre and Namur, you will find a small museum dedicated to WWII. Roughly organized, dusty but full of nostalgia and charm. A real tribute to the remembrance. The owner will be so kind to explain you the story linked to the thousands of items, his little treasure. He’s enjoying to communicate his enthousiasm. Entrance fee 4€, everyday open but better to call before coming +32 479 44 65 09. Check also the website http://www.museedusouvenir.be.

We paid a visit in 2018, on the Patrimony Day, and we had 2 nice surprises : visit the museum and one hour tour in the countryside with vehicles from WWII. This was completely free .
