In the spirit of supporting our Vegan Vegetarian brothers and sisters, Local Guides in Klang Valley/Malaysia will meet during the World Vegan Day festival on Sunday, Nov 5, 2017 on 11.30am. This festival is organized by the Malaysian Vegetarian Society. Location is at Publika Shopping Gallery Jalan Dutamas 1 Solaris Dutamas https://goo.gl/maps/GP32MgjfxhN2 This is a casual meet up for any Local Guide who wants to join, meet old friends, and get to know new ones. Everyone is invited. There will be many vegan stalls for us to support and we can try out new vegan vegetarian food. There will be sufficient time for everyone to socialize and to learn from each other regarding the Local Guides program. We will also have some time to help map the shops there for accessibility & updated information. Rough timings on Nov 5, Sunday. By 11.30am Arrival and meet up (actual location will be sent via Whatsapp on that day) 11.30am - 1.00pm Local Guides socializing, visiting the food stalls, having food, taking photos etc. 1.00pm onwards Take as much time as needed to help update Google Maps for accessibility, new information and photos of the shops in Publika. Meet up ends. Notes: Expenses/food during the event are self paid. After that take taxi/uber/grabcar. OR If you are driving: Key in “Publika” into WAZE or “Publika Shopping Gallery” into Google Maps OR Link up with others and car pool.
