Today on World Photography Day let’s share our favorite pictures. But before that, I will know the history of this day.

History

The origin of World Photography Day can be traced back to the 19th century. Two Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce developed ‘Daguerreotype’ in the year 1837. It was a photography process. The French Academy of Sciences officially endorsed the Daguerreotype on 9 January, 1839.

On 19 August, 1839, the French government acknowledged the invention and called it ‘a gift to the world’.

It was 1954 to 1956 EBR ( Eastern Bengal Railway ) buy this locomotive from general motors in USA

You are so right, @MahabubMunna , there are numerous stories behind a picture. It is really difficult to pick one favorite picture. After reading your post I started digging into my Google Photos to see some of my favorites. And I realized that there are over a thousand pictures that have that marked. So I decided to pick the below, just randomly.

You are right @MahabubMunna every photo says a story. I took this photo when we were driving (took it from inside the car) around the “Museum of the future” looked so beautiful couldn’t help but click one. Very nice to see everyone sharing tone of their favorite pics. Everyone has taken nice pics.
