Every year environmental advocates all over the world come together to commemorate the World Environment Day on June 5. A theme is set aside annually to focus on a particular issue.
In 2018 the aim was to #beatplastic and the theme for 2019 is #BetAirPollution.
Local Guides can align with #CleanTheWorld initiative to carry out activites during the day, week or month.
You can plant a trees, clean the beach, collect plastic thrash, ride bicycle to reduce car fumes, post information on social media or do something positive.
Host a meetup and invite others to join the campaign.

The event will last for 5 days from 5 to 9 June. I will give you all details after June 10… if I survive!
@EmekaUlor You are right, rubbish is an environmental disaster, especially plastic, every country has a problem about plastic, my country Indonesia is the same as other countries how to solve plastic problems, maybe we can do that is to dispose of plastic waste in its place, even though this is a small solution. thanks for sharing
