Hello Local Guides!
On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, I had the opportunity to witness some beautiful and inspiring environmental awareness campaigns at two major railway divisions of India β Agra Division (North Central Railway) and Ranchi Division (South Eastern Railway). These efforts truly reflect how Indian Railways is stepping forward to support sustainable development and spread the message of eco-conscious living.

This poster stood tall with a powerful message:
βEnd Plastic Pollutionβ
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Taj Mahal, it symbolizes how heritage and environment go hand-in-hand. The campaign ran from 22 May to 05 June, encouraging tree plantation, plastic reduction, and a green lifestyle.

This colorful and child-friendly poster emphasized multiple environmental actions:
No Plastic
Save Water
Save Energy
Plant Trees
Carry Your Own Water Bottle
I loved how it targeted both children and adults, making the message more inclusive and action-oriented.
Related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
These campaigns align directly with the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
