Workspaces In Lagos, Nigeria

Apart from the cons of working from home like distractions and sometimes falling into the trap of having no closing hours (leave a comment if you can relate  ), if you’re like me, from time to time you feel the need to work from somewhere else or just change your work environment.

Working from home is not quite like working from the office.

If you are still working from home and you feel “stuck” or have been experiencing the not-so-friendly creative block, this may particularly boost your creative thinking.

I have made a list https://www.google.com/maps/placelists/list/vDiJeIPCC34GIP16o58pR9ifQ_raOQ of workspaces or coworking spaces as some people like to call it that you can work from in Lagos.

@Dorcas_Jacob – this is wonderful of you to create a Lagos workspaces list. I am sure the Lagos Local Guides community will enjoy having this handy Google Maps list.

Did you know if you write a comment for each of the places you listed on your list you can also get 3 points for each? If you have particular workspace favorites, please share your opinion or advice on which one you like to go to the most. You can also rank your order on your list too if you have an android mobile.

Also, I noticed you have your social media links at bottom of your post. Do you know you can create social media links in your Connect signature? Look at mine at the bottom. Please read this post that was written by Local Guide @Badruddeen . He provides the HTML code template for you.

Cheers,

Karen

Thank you @KarenVChin I will add brief comments for each of the places on my list.

I tried earlier to set my signature up, I thought I got a hang of it  I will follow @Badruddeen 's setup.

You’re welcome @Dorcas_Jacob ! I forgot to mention – pre-Covid, my “workspace” choice is going to my local Starbucks or Philz Coffee. I don’t meet anyone face-to-face. But the baristas know me and I have had conversations with the other patrons who are working beside me.

Coffee, good music, and free high-speed wifi are everything!

Cheers,

Karen

@KarenVChin I have made some changes to my signature but I can’t see anything. I am eager to know if the problem is fixed. Do you see any changes, please?

No @Dorcas_Jacob – I don’t see your signature links. Are you following what @ErmesT told you in terms of getting the link to show up

https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/How-to-link-my-socials-under-my-post/m-p/2953943/highlight/true#M1130380

What I showed you is how to each type of link (copy and paste the source code).

@Dorcas_Jacob thank you for be creative and making a list of working spaces in Lagos. It comes in handy for those who’s work life may have changed - working from home.

When I started my digital firm in 2017, I leveraged some of the workspaces to work.

I started from CCHub, been to Workstation, Leadspace; hosted meet-ups at Seedstars and Venia then Vatebra is right across our house in Ajah. And I first met @ChinonsoOnukwugha at Cranium One in Victoria Island before we became Local Guide pals.

I love that these places provide constant electricity, fast bandwidth Internet and a community co-create with.

Nice to see how you have utilized workspaces for your growth. I am also in the Ajah environ. And yes, workspaces is a great place to meet people.

Agreed @EmekaUlor , this is awesome @Dorcas_Jacob !

I love that co-working spaces are becoming a movement here and with these times, I’m sure people would be tapping into those options.
