To get to the Galapagos Islands, it is best to reach the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador and from there take a flight to the islands, there are two ways, the first is traveling to the island of San Cristobal and the second to the island of Baltra.
A couple of years ago I traveled to the island of San Cristobal to work, however it gave me ways to get to know these wonderful islands, I got up very early before going to work and I went out there to run, and the landscapes and have so Nearby the wildlife is something incredible.
The ecosystem of the island is something delicate that is why they take conservation very seriously, my work consisted in the construction of a sustainable, ecologic hospital and with a model for quite special treatment, it had the form of a sea turtle, besides orchard for the inmates. The cost in the islands is somewhat high, almost twice what it is in mainland Ecuador, so they must prepare a budget considering that, the passage from Ecuador costs around $ 200, to San Cristobal Island, which is where I was. The environment is like a community, since there are no large hotel infrastructures, or restaurants, which is great.
