My name is Igor and I’m a local guide, a small gear in the huge Google Maps mechanism.
I am obsessed with correcting place addresses as well as with correcting business working hours.
I am sure nobody will argue that the correct address is one of the essential parts of Maps.
When I see that one is wrong I try my best to figure out the correct one and fixed it.
I had a few cases when I got to the place, I realized that the place was not that I was looking for because of the wrong address.
And I started to use maps even for places I know very good.
And that is the answer to how to find incorrect addresses or working hours.
Just use Google Maps for places you already know, use maps more often.
Working hours are very important as well.
Especially in the evening. When I’m already tired I always check if the place I want to go to is still open or not.
It would be very annoying and disappointing to get there and “kiss the locked door”.
When I correct address or working hours I feel that I contribute to the Maps community, I know that I help people that I even don’t know, and it feels very satisfying.
Use maps, correct maps, repeat!
