Today I would like to share you some photos of our pride of Chittagong city, the Karnaphuli River! .
A short description of the Karnaphuli River:
A great role of our economy moves with the Karnaphuli River. Our main port ie Chittagong port stands on the bank of this river! And this river has strong current and deep water with good nevigation character that makes to decelop a good port activities.
The Karnaphuli River starts from Indian Lushai mountains at Mizoram. It flows about 180 mountains and Hilly sufaces and then go through the Chittagong city and finally drains to the Bay of Bengal. Itr total lenght is about 270 Kilometres from tge start point to the mouth of Bay of Bengal, Its old name is “Khawthlangtuipui”.
This is the largest and most important River in Chittagong and Chittagong Hill Tracks even in Bangladesh is one of the most importan.

A little story of Shah Amanat Bridge:
This is a new bridge openen on 2010. The lenght of the bridge is 950m. It is Located at Chandgoan Upazilla in Chittagong city, This bridge start from Chittagong city edge and it links to our Southeast part means Cox’s Bazar and Tekhna. So this bridge is considered as very important bridge for the country.
From the bridge you can see the Marvelous views of many kinds of boats land ships, like small, large, very large And different Colored and types, are moving in the river. Also see the Chittagong city views at one side and the other side Village areas.
