Will Life Change After this Pandemic?

As someone who was crippled with depression for over 18 months during 2018/2019… 2020 has actually been an IMPROVEMENT!!

After recovering, I’m able to appreciate the amazingly small things life has to offer. I’ve had the energy, drive and motivation to support people less fortunate then me and found a purpose.

i worry that when this is all over, and inevitably, life will go back to some semblance of normality, will we learn any positive lessons from all this or will it just be business as usual again?

During my own personal experience of this lockdown period, I’ve been able to survive and thrive. I’ve supported local businesses, volunteered by helping vulnerable people in my community and also managed to find Love (More on that if people really want to know!)

I’d love to know peoples experiences locally!

Welcome to Connect @TonyV1701 ,

Kudos to your first post, and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

It is great to see that there are people who thrive through these poor circumstances. Congratulations on your improvement! :]

You mentioned that you support small businesses in your area, I suggest going over the article which covers the same topic Which small businesses are you supporting right now? and engage in the conversation.

Additionally, to get you started, I would suggest peeking at Your guide to Connect to get familiar with the program.

Due to the current situation, we’ve added a new label too called COVID-19, you can now find all posts under Local Stories that uses the new label, COVID-19, to find out what other Local Guides are discussing and how they’re helping their local communities. More information you can find in this article How to make the most of creating and finding relevant posts on Connect. More on the topicThink about what a Local Guides can do in a pandemic :doughnut:  #Coronavirus.
