I’ve noticed that in previous years, Local Guides who participated in Connect Live received an Attendee badge on their Local Guides/Google Maps profile after attending the event.
Since many of us participated in Connect Live Singapore 2026, I was wondering if we will also receive a similar Connect Live Singapore Attendee badge on our profiles.
Has anyone received the badge yet, or has the Google Local Guides team shared any update regarding this?
Even Connect LIVE Tokyo 2025 attendees didn’t get yet
I’m wondering about this too!
Fingers crossed we’ll get an Attendee badge one more little souvenir from our Singapore adventure!
@NasimJ I also participated in Connect Live Bengaluru. Afterward, many Local Guides requested via posts on Connect that attendees should receive the Connect Live Attendee badge. However, I haven’t received any official confirmation regarding this yet.
I suspect the Local Guides team might have discontinued the long-standing tradition of the Connect Live Attendee badge. That said, I recall @MortenCopenhagen sir hinting in a comment somewhere that attendees might possibly receive the badge this time (2026).
Therefore, only Googler @Kristen_NYC can provide definitive confirmation on whether the Connect Live Attendee badge has been discontinued or if it will be awarded again this time.
I believe the LG team plans to issue a Connect badge covering all 3 live events in 2026. But plans can easily change.
The
or Me Too
button comes in handy in these cases

@NasimJ
Yes, it will definitely be a good memoir of our attendance!
Hopefully the LG team considers this
@MortenCopenhagen @shaileno The plan is still to have badges for ConnectLIVE 2026 (and 2025) and they’ll be issued after we wrap ConnectLIVE Mexico City in a few weeks.
Thanks A lot for Confirmation
Thank you so much for your confirmation @Kristen_NYC
