Hi @chris_1 ,

Welcome to Connect!

Would you like to tell us more about this place? Do you have more photos of it? Which device did you use to capture it? I love mountains and it would be great to learn more about this one.

You can learn more things for posting on Connect, if you check out those articles: Your guide to Connect and How to choose a topic for your Connect post. Another great thing is to introduce yourself.

Hey @chris_1 !

Welcome to Connect! Nice photo of Scotland! Are you visiting or from Scotland? I’m just curious… Manchester based here in the UK so I’m always on the lookout for UK based Local Guides!

Hope you’ll settle well on Connect and if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Use the @ to tag folks so that we will get a notification! Have fun!

This was taken with a Samsung Note 8 and its in Arrochar just outside Glasgow. @PoliMC Few hours on the bus or train from me. The group of montains are called the Arrochar Alps, this one in particular (probably the most famous) is called The Cobbler. Few hours up few hours down, I decided to stay the night at the top tho. Plenty more pictures.

Hi @chris_1 ,

Thanks for your reply!

I am impressed that you stayed on the top the whole night. Wasn’t it too cold? Did you stay in a tent? Would you like to add more photos? I think it would be very interesting for the other Local Guides as well.

@chris_1

It looks straight out of the movies…so beautiful. Are you camping there?

@chris_1 Once this lockdown and virus is done, do come to Manchester for a visit! Would be great to show you around. And if I get to Glasgow, which I do sometimes, I’ll give you a nudge too!
