The story start around the year 1100 and the Tower Born like the Bell of Santa Maria Assunta Cathedral.

What else I can tell you…
The Tower is Born as the bell tower of the Cathedral.
Like you also sayd the architecture Is Amazing and Piazza del Duomo Is One of the beautyfull Place in Italy.
The Story of Pisa’s Tower start long Time ago’ so there Is a lot to sayd, But for know the beauty of this Place you have to see it.
I’m afraid you didn’t go up the Tower becouse the View Is Amazing so if One day you came back in this Place try to go on the early morning, so to make less queue and go up the Tower.
The Tower is around 60 Meter higher and there are 200 step to do for arrive on the top where you can make a Walk around it.
After if you do another 10 step you’ll arrive at the bell tower of the Cathedral.
About the second question I live in Torino, i went there for a Little visit in Florence and Pisa.
There is so much to sayd about this Place that you can wrote 1 book.
