I posted the following review (below) yesterday morning. The photographer saw it, but then later said that it disappeared. Sure enough, it still appears on my profile, but when I search the photographer in incognito mode it’s gone. After reading a lot about the hidden reviews issue, I suspect this happened because I edited it several times, so maybe the filter thought it was spam? I then tried reviewing another place and that review has been hidden too, so clearly I’ve been shadow banned. I’m super frustrated because I wanted to help out a small business with a great review, but now not only is that particular review hidden, my whole account seems to be suspended from posting reviews.
I submitted my account for investigation to this link. How long does this process usually take, and is there anything I can do in the meanwhile?

@orangebanana reviews are very sensitive. Editing multiple times might trigger a spam filter. The second thing is once a review is hidden it won’t go public again. Thirdly you need to read policies again. A general commentary and off the topic reviews are always hidden. And a lot of such reviews can invite more problems to your account, e evm may lead to a suspension. I will run a post on reviews soon.

I wish I would have known about how editing multiple times triggers the spam filter. How could I have known that as the average user?! Ugh. I’m so frustrated, I spent so much time on it.
Should I delete it or wait for my account to be investigated?
If you filed for a investigation. You should wait but as far I know there won’t be a special communication should your review be restored or stay private/hidden. You have to check it manually like you just did. If you read the policies carefully and the related post here on connect you will realise writing reviews that stay public is very difficult job. Once I had some 2.1k reviews and out of which 1.6k were hidden leading to suspension of my account. It can be really frustrating even sometimes genuine good reviews go hidden.
Was your account reinstated after investigation? How did you resolve this?
Hidden reviews should be deleted slowly like 3-4 reviews everyday. I never filed an investigation I knew the reviews were not written well.
