Why the changes are not approved by Google maps team?

Hi,

Hope all doing good,

In Bengaluru there are many places have their properly/Correct in English but not in Kannada,

Even after I edited the name its not getting approved,Can I know why its not getting approved?

Or is there any way to correct the name in Kannada.

Find the attached Screenshot with the wrong name in Kannda.

Sorry to read that your edit is seeing repeat rejections @ChandaneshKC

However, to understand the edit approval process, I suggest going through this help desk article.
https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Help-Desk/Why-is-my-edit-status-Pending-or-Not-Applied/ba-p/1079069

If your edit is pending, please request other local guides to whom you know, to check whether that appears in the section “Check the facts”.

Further, it’s not correct to suggest a repeat edit once the first one stands rejected. That may amount to spamming.

Nevertheless, there are some more ways to achieve the desired changes.

Through the send feedback → Your opinion about Maps route.

That’s explained at this link.
https://support.google.com/maps/answer/3094045?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

Mention the issue in the community pages of Maps help & support forum.

Alternatively, you can request the business to claim the place & then arrange an update through Google My Business.

Here is a link to GMB.

Another way is to route the requirement through the content partners.

Although you may not be getting any credit in points, your actions will ensure that the Maps is up to date.

PS: By the way, you are not alone to face the trouble of incorrect translation. Please see my idea related to similar problem in Marathi translation.

In addition to all the good advice you already got you may also find my notes on How to make sense of Google’s responses to your edits interesting since Approved, Not applied, and Pending are explained in more detail.

I notice you tried to edit a place that is listed as “temporarily closed” @ChandaneshKC - Maps does not allow edits on these places. If the place is trading, you can mark it open and then make your edit. Do not mark it open if it is not.

Hi @ChandaneshKC

I think the Google maps is not fully trusted on your edits

I think you have to write the word ‘bite me’ pronounsation in kannada and then it will be
