Why start added to 360 street view?

Question, Why should I start adding 360 pictures to “street view”? Is it worth it? I am level 8 and having fun reviewing. thanks

@Awebb It’s just another way of contributing to Maps so others can see that location. You can think of it as adding a photo to that location where instead of only seeing a single view, one can rotate and see the entire environment on that point.

And for future questions, it’s best to post it to a relevant topic such as “How-to”, rather than to the Idea Exchange board, which is mainly for new ideas on how to improve Maps or the LG program etc.

This reason made me come out of posting at Street View. I thought I should purchase a 360 camera but later lost interest. In my opinion an ordinary photo or video can also be equally/differently helpful as a 360 view is.
