Hi @InaS … We all know that photo bring more views than reviews, but i believe review can help people more… So, this is my questions… why so hard to write a review on google maps? Last time my review is invisible, and i fill the form, and after that 95% of my review appear, but this is happen again. And lately i think maybe this is the lack of the systems? Because sometimes that happen after i wirte a review where i previously only gave a rating. And after that my reviews disable to appear.
If i edit the review and post it, i belive the review will disapper like my other review, eventhough i write the proper review. Please help to get solutions, so we (google maps reviewer) can help more people through good review, not only by Photoes. Thx u in advance @InaS
Is this happening for all placers, or only in this one? I am asking because I can’t see your contributions, but I see that you posted (or edited) your rating a day ago, so i have no idea if that one is your last contribution, or if you added other reviews after that one.
My feeling is that you had a glitch, maybe related to the connection, when posting the reviews, so that the review was not saved.
If the issues appear again, first of all you can restart your device, to restart all the Apps, then try again. Make sure to have a good connection before to post it.
Also make sure to have the latest version of the app installed in your device
The first my rating is there, but if i write the review, the rating & review all disappear (invisible to others), altough i write good and proper reviews.
This is not the first time, but happen sometimes. Thats weird, and in the same time, make people don’t want to write a review because of that.
When we change a star-only rating into a text review the number of star-only-revies will always go down. This is not a bug but how Google Maps was designed to work.
Points wise a rating gives you 1 point. When you write a text review you are rewarded 10+1 points.
This is third time happen to me @ErmesT , yesterday i edit my ratings of rest area, i completed with a review, and after that all my reviews (after the rest area will be invisible to others altough all good review, i believe i still do all the policy right).
Yesterday i gave rating to Rest Area Km 753 B (and after that i edited, i add a review)…
Hi @MortenCopenhagen i understand about the point of “rating”. But i didn’t understand why the review is invisible… I think there is a bug… thats possible to happen. Its not about the point, but about the visibility of my reviews.
I think you are hit with the usual problem of hidden reviews.
I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 630 reviews and only 581 of them are public.
Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the review guidelines.

Please use the form called Account investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished. Please note that it can take several weeks for the check to be done, and you will not be notified about the result, so I suggest you check the status of your reviews once a week or so.
@MortenCopenhagen while we waiting our review appear, what your suggestions? Better we wait or better we still write reviews, because some point not adding when wes still write a review, the point of answer not increasing too. Can the point accumulating after our review appear?
Hi… @MortenCopenhagen i try to follow your suggestions… but i think that make it worst because now my reviews all hidden at all. Is that better if we re-fill the form? Please suggest, because I don’t see any improvement for my account and i think this is happen a lot of time to a lot of Local Guide. cc @InaS@DeniGu
