Hi everyone! This is what I love sharing the most with other Maps users.
The first time I saw a review on Google Maps i was like “Wait, what!? Is that even possible?”. It was a review about a Café in San Luis, Argentina, I believe. Then it suddenly came to mind, the meaning of that potential I had as a customer to share a personal opinion about my experiences with everyone interested in knowing the answers of the same doubts I had! It was like a major idea of a worldwide forum where every photo and review counts.
I had it clear: I wanted to share every possible experience, good or bad, I encountered along my days of tasting new foods, knowing new places and living fresh experiences. Since then I shared every aspect I found worth of mentioning in Google Maps. I have to admit that more than once those Google messages asking for help where perfect for making me not to forget to do it! xD
In the las two years I achieved a total of 60 reviews and uploaded more than 90 significant pictures to help other people to know better what to wait in the places I visited. I also found the most interesting, the fact that big part of my reviews were answered by the very same owners of the stores, what means that the comments are also helpful as good feedbacks for the offered services, and that providers are interested in givin’ better attention. I think about these reviews like the responsibility of sharing our experiences, the same that we would expect from help forums of any topic.
I can confidently tell that my aim as a Local Guide is to provide freshy and sincere opinions about what I feel is main of places, hotels and bars I visit, so on the one hand everyone with interest can know what to wait, and on the other as a useful feedback for improvement of services offered! And just because I am also grateful to find my doubts answered by other altruistic collaborators. By the way, getting likes and views in your comments is actually encouraging!
Keep sharing, Local Guides! We are all thankful
Hopefully we will see us at Connect Live 2019! Best wishes to everyone
Greetings from Argentina!
