4 years ago I traveled east European countries. At that time I was not used to using Google maps even though it was useful. Actually it didn’t work well in Korea as it was restricted by the Korean government.
Always I depended on paper maps during the trip. When I asked someone how to get to the guest house in Copenhagen, I can’t forget his response. Why not use Google maps?
It was the moment I started using the maps. Google maps helped me a lot every time I traveled, even in South America.
As I’m a host providing the place to stay foreigners who visit Seoul, I have been interested in introducing the places. Thus through blogs, I have introduced famous tourist spots in Seoul and others in Korea.
Someday I found a suggestion of Local Guide and I realized that I might give some tips to foreign tourists through the program. So I participated in the program. How curious and exciting!!! I’m proud that someone is getting help from me.
The message from Google that the photos I posted are helping users make my heart flutter. Now I can confidently say why not use Google Maps.
What the Local Guides Program means to me is that I help others not to do what I feel discomfort during my trip. in addition, I hope other people like the place I like and I would often think about what could be special for other people.
